The latest Bihar exit poll analysis shows a clear shift in voter mood in the Magadh and Shahabad regions. With voting for the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections now complete, attention has turned to the final results on November 14. Most surveys suggest that the Nitish Kumar-led NDA may return to power. This Bihar exit poll analysis highlights surprising changes in two key regions that were earlier strongholds of the Grand Alliance.
Exit poll numbers from Axis My India show the NDA gaining momentum in Magadh and Shahabad. These regions, which include Patna, Jehanabad, Gaya, Ara, Buxar, Rohtas, and Kaimur, are showing a strong tilt toward the NDA. The survey predicts that the NDA may win up to 35 seats in the Pataliputra–Magadh belt, while the Grand Alliance may win around 25.
In the Shahabad belt, the NDA is expected to secure 27 out of 49 seats. The Grand Alliance may win 21, with the rest going to smaller parties. This marks a major turnaround, as the Grand Alliance dominated these areas during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
The NDA’s rise in other regions, like Mithila and Champaran, also strengthens its overall position in the state.
