Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday reaffirmed his government’s commitment to the empowerment and inclusion of tribal communities, emphasizing their vital role in the state’s social and cultural fabric. Speaking at an event in Lucknow held as part of the ongoing Janajatiya Gaurav Pakhwada, Mr. Adityanath said the government has launched several welfare initiatives to promote education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities among tribal groups. He highlighted efforts to preserve tribal heritage and traditions while ensuring that development schemes reach remote and forest-dwelling populations. The Chief Minister also praised tribal leaders and freedom fighters for their contributions to India’s independence and unity. Stressing the importance of inclusive growth, he said the state will continue to focus on strengthening infrastructure, connectivity, and employment in tribal areas.
