The Bochahan Election Result 2025 has created strong excitement in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The fight in the SC-reserved Bochahan seat is mainly between Baby Kumari of LJP (Ram Vilas) and Amar Paswan of the RJD. Early trends show that Baby Kumari is leading by nearly 3,000 votes. Counting began at 8 AM, starting with postal ballots. EVM counting started soon after. A total of 8 candidates are contesting, but the main battle remains between Baby Kumari and Amar Paswan. The voting turnout was high at 76.35 percent, with many women coming out in large numbers.
Amar Paswan earlier became MLA in the 2022 by-election after his father Musafir Paswan’s death. Baby Kumari, known for her strong local support, was given the BJP’s backing in the past. This time, she is contesting from Chirag Paswan’s LJP(R).
Local leaders from all parties campaigned heavily. Delhi CM Rekha Gupta campaigned for Baby Kumari, while Tejashwi Yadav and Mukesh Sahni supported Amar Paswan. The final result will show which party’s strategy worked better in this closely watched Bihar contest.
