Aurangabad District Election Results Heat Up in Bihar Battle

Aurangabad

Vote counting began at 8 am across all six assembly seats of Aurangabad district, a key political region in Bihar. The district is witnessing close contests as both the NDA and the Grand Alliance push hard to claim these crucial seats.

In Nabinagar, a fierce battle is unfolding between JDU’s Chetan Anand, son of former MLA Anand Mohan Singh, and RJD’s Amod Kumar Singh. Their tight race has drawn major attention from supporters.

Aurangabad seat also remains important. Congress MLA Anand Shankar Singh, who defeated BJP’s Ramadhar Singh in 2020, is seeking another win. The BJP has fielded Trivikram Narayan Singh to challenge him.

In Rafiganj, RJD’s Ghulam Shahid is competing against JDU’s Pramod Kumar Singh, who finished as an independent runner-up in 2020. The Obra seat features another rematch between RJD’s Rishi Kumar and LJP (RV)’s Prakash Chandra. JSP’s Sudhir Kumar Sharma adds a third dimension to this contest.

The Goh seat shows strong interest as BJP’s Dr. Ranvijay Kumar challenges RJD’s Amarendra Kumar. Kutumba (SC) also presents a tight competition between Congress’s Rajesh Kumar and HAM-S candidate Lalan Ram.

Final results are expected by afternoon, and the district may witness major shifts this year.
