Jaishankar Reviews India-U.S. Ties at Envoys’ Conference in New York

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar chaired a key conference of Indian envoys in the United States, focusing on a comprehensive review of India-U.S. bilateral relations. The meeting brought together senior Indian diplomats stationed across the U.S. to evaluate ongoing cooperation in areas such as strategic partnership, trade, technology, and people-to-people ties. During his visit, Mr. Jaishankar also interacted with officials at the Indian Consulate in New York.
In a post on X, the Consulate, led by Consul General Binaya Pradhan, expressed that it was “honoured” to welcome the External Affairs Minister to its premises. His engagements underscored India’s continued commitment to strengthening diplomatic outreach and expanding collaboration with the United States.
The conference served as an opportunity to align India’s diplomatic priorities with evolving global and regional dynamics, reaffirming the importance of the India-U.S. partnership as a pillar of New Delhi’s foreign policy.
