Violence erupts in Kaimur during the counting of the Bihar Assembly Election, and the situation turned tense within minutes. The injured include CRPF ASI Rajkumar Mishra, Sub-Inspector Krishnakant Mishra, Havaldars Yogendra Sharma and Bhim Sen, GR Commando Sanjay Kumar Rana, and a District Police jawan. Two officers suffered serious injuries and received immediate medical care.
District Superintendent Harimohan Shukla led the team that restored order at the counting centre. Officials continued the counting process under tight security.
