Tata Motors has unveiled the all-new Tata Sierra launch 2025, marking the comeback of the iconic SUV after more than two decades. Revealed at Tata’s Sierra Day event, the production-ready model blends the classic boxy silhouette with modern styling, ahead of its price announcement on November 25. Positioned above the Curvv, the Sierra will rival midsize SUVs such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.
Modern Exterior Design
The new Sierra retains its signature upright stance, complemented by a panoramic roof, flush door handles, blacked-out ORVMs, and roof rails. At the front, a connected LED DRL panel, projector headlamps, and illuminated Tata logo enhance its bold look. The rear features a full-width LED light bar and clamshell tailgate. The SUV rides on 19-inch alloy wheels and has already won the 2025 Red Dot Design Award for its design.
Premium Interior and Features
Inside, the Sierra introduces the “Life Space” concept with a triple-screen TheatrePro layout for driver, infotainment, and passenger displays. The cabin features ambient lighting, soft-touch surfaces, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, ventilated powered seats, 360-degree camera, and Level-2 ADAS. Tata’s new JBL Black 12-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system enhances the in-cabin experience.
Powertrain Options
The Sierra will offer a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (160-170bhp), a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel (118bhp) with manual and automatic options. An electric variant is planned for the future.
