Bhopal: Speculation over a major cabinet reshuffle in Madhya Pradesh has accelerated after the BJP announced its new state executive committee. With the Mohan Yadav government approaching its two-year mark, expansion of the cabinet—along with possible removals—is now seen as almost certain.
Sources indicate that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has ordered detailed performance reports of all ministers. The review evaluates how effectively each minister’s work has helped the party, their public image, conduct with workers, ability to implement schemes, and the overall administrative impact of their departments. Report cards of MLAs are also being examined.
Frequent meetings between the Chief Minister and the party’s central leadership have strengthened speculation that the state may adopt a “Gujarat formula”—where performance-based restructuring plays a key role. Four ministerial posts remain vacant, increasing curiosity about who may be inducted.
