Prashant Kishor takes responsibility for the Bihar election defeat and speaks openly about the loss. He says that he failed to win the people’s trust. Prashant Kishor takes responsibility again in his statement, saying that the team tried honestly but could not succeed. He admits that the result was a complete failure and believes that accepting the truth is important.
Kishor explains that Jansuraj worked for three and a half years to change the system in Bihar. He says the team made a strong effort, but the public did not support them. Many colleagues attended the press meet even though the party got only 3.5% votes. Kishor feels this shows that the movement created some impact, even if the final result was disappointing.
He also says he chose good candidates, but the public preferred others. Using a simple example, he said, “If someone wants khichdi, how can we give them pulao?” Kishor plans to observe a one-day silent fast at Gandhi Bhitiharwa Ashram as atonement.
He claims they made mistakes but never committed any crime. He also repeats his stand that Nitish Kumar cannot win more than 25 seats. Kishor promises to continue working in Bihar.
