Deepinder Goyal, founder and CEO of Eternal, the parent company of popular food delivery platform Zomato, is now set to enter the civil aviation sector. He has launched a new aviation venture named LAT Aerospace and has recently purchased a luxury private jet, according to English media reports.

The private jet, which is part of the Bombardier Global Series, has been acquired by LAT Aerospace. The aircraft has been stationed at the VIP Bay in Delhi since June 2025, and its operations are scheduled to officially begin on July 16, 2025. The management and engineering responsibilities for the aircraft have been handed over to Indamar MJets Airport Services and Bird ExecuJet Airport Services. However, complete details about the jet’s model and features have not yet been disclosed.

This development comes shortly after Deepinder Goyal made headlines for purchasing a luxury apartment worth ₹52.3 crore in Gurugram’s DLF area. As per a Forbes report, Goyal holds a 3.83% stake in Zomato as of June 2025, with the value of his shares estimated at around ₹9,847 crore, taking his net worth to over $1.6 billion.

With this private jet acquisition and the launch of LAT Aerospace, it is evident that Deepinder Goyal is expanding his business beyond food delivery, aiming to make a significant impact in the aviation sector as well.
