Nitish NDA Govt Cabinet Moves to Form Government

Nitish NDA Govt Cabinet leadership meeting in Bihar

The Nitish NDA Govt Cabinet has taken a major step toward forming the next Bihar government. JDU MLAs elected Nitish Kumar as their legislative party leader. After the NDA meeting at 3:30 pm, he will visit Raj Bhavan to stake claim. This move shows the strong unity inside the Nitish NDA Govt Cabinet, which now holds more than two-thirds majority in the Assembly.

The NDA has 202 MLAs, controlling nearly 83% of the seats. Nitish will take oath on Thursday at Gandhi Maidan. Leaders from five alliance parties are expected to join him as ministers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Patna at 11 am tomorrow to attend the ceremony.

In the BJP meeting, Samrat Chaudhary was chosen as the legislative leader and Vijay Kumar Sinha as deputy leader. Both will serve as Deputy Chief Ministers in the new government. Their influence inside the coalition remains strong.

Nitish Kumar’s long political journey continues. He has switched alliances several times but kept returning to leadership roles. This will be his tenth term as Chief Minister and the NDA’s eighth government in Bihar.
