Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is expected to appear before the CBI Special Court in Hyderabad today. The appearance is related to the ongoing disproportionate assets case. According to initial information, Jagan will reach the Nampally CBI court around 11 AM for the scheduled hearing.
Party sources said Jagan will travel from Tadepalli to Begumpet in a special flight. From the airport, he will go directly to the CBI court. After completing the court proceedings, he may leave for Bengaluru in the evening. Reports suggest that his travel plan for the day has already been finalised by the party.
The news of Jagan’s Hyderabad visit has created activity within the YSRCP ranks. Party workers and leaders are making plans to gather in large numbers near the court. The cadres believe his appearance will energise supporters and strengthen party morale.
Security arrangements are expected to be tightened around the court area due to the anticipated crowd. Traffic restrictions may also be implemented. Officials are preparing for the hearing as the case continues to remain politically sensitive in Andhra Pradesh politics.
