The RRC Northern Railway recruitment drive has opened a major opportunity as the department invites applications for 4,116 Act Apprentice posts. The RRC Northern Railway recruitment process begins on November 25, 2025, and eligible candidates can apply online at rrcnr.org until December 24, 2025.
This large-scale recruitment covers multiple clusters: Lucknow (1,397 posts), Delhi (1,137 posts), Firozpur (632 posts), Ambala (934 posts), and Moradabad (16 posts). Candidates must hold a Matriculation/10th Class certificate with at least 50% marks and an ITI qualification in the relevant trade from NCVT or SCVT. Those waiting for results cannot apply.
Applicants must be between 15 and 24 years old as of December 24, 2025. Age relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates as per government rules.
The application fee is ₹100 for General and OBC candidates, while SC, ST, PwBD, and women candidates can apply for free. Payments can be made through UPI, net banking, or cards.
The selection method includes application screening and a merit list based on marks from both Matriculation and ITI, giving equal weight to each. Shortlisted candidates will attend document verification and a medical fitness test.
