Sri Anandpur Sahib Ready to Welcome Devotees as Punjab prepares for the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The government has completed all arrangements to receive lakhs of visitors with devotion and respect.
Education and Information & Public Relations Minister Harjot Singh Bins said the sacred city stands fully prepared for the historic three-day ceremonies. He added that the state is honouring Guru Sahib’s supreme sacrifice with complete dedication. Tourism Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond said officials have completed every arrangement for the expected rush from November 23 to 25. He assured that the sangat will not face inconvenience at any point.
The ministers urged families from across the world to visit Sri Anandpur Sahib and take part in the celebrations. They said Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s message of courage, compassion and freedom continues to guide humanity.
The ceremonies begin on November 23 with Sri Akhand Path Sahib, an exhibition at Virasat-e-Khalsa and a sarb dharam sammelan. Nagar Kirtans, heritage walks, kavi sessions, Gatka demonstrations and drone shows will take place throughout the three days. A major blood donation and tree plantation drive will also be held.
To manage the massive inflow, the state has arranged shuttle services, e-rickshaws, mini-buses, tent cities, medical units and a large police deployment. Officials said Sri Anandpur Sahib is now fully ready to welcome devotees for this historic occasion.
