Jitan Ram Manjhi launched a strong attack on the RJD in Bihar after the party’s poor performance in the recent Assembly elections. He shared a post on social media and said that dinosaurs may return to Earth, but the RJD in Bihar will never return to power. His remark created a big political discussion across the state.
In the last election, RJD contested 143 seats but won only 25. Lalu Yadav wanted to make Tejashwi Yadav the Chief Minister, but that dream did not come true. Manjhi said RJD leaders failed to understand voter mood. His post also tagged RJD and Tejashwi Yadav directly.
Manjhi added that people are now joking that dinosaurs may come back one day, but RJD will not return to power in Bihar. His party, Hindustani Awam Morcha, contested only six seats and won five. His son, Santosh Kumar Suman, also returned as a minister in the new government.
Although RJD received nearly 23% vote share, it could not convert this into more seats. In 2020, the party won 75 seats and became the largest party. This time, the NDA achieved a huge victory, and Nitish Kumar returned as Chief Minister.
