The Bihar four-lane road plan aims to bring better roads within 40 kilometers of every home in the state. The government wants people to reach Patna from any part of Bihar within four hours. The Bihar four-lane road plan was highlighted by Road Construction Minister Nitin Naveen after he took charge of the department.
He thanked the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister for their support. He said the Road Construction Department plays a key role in the state’s growth. His main focus is to speed up major projects such as expressways and ring roads in the next five years.
Projects announced during the Pragati Yatra will also get fast approval. The minister said technology will be used to monitor work and improve the quality of construction. This will help ensure strong roads across Bihar.
In the next five years, several projects will connect villages with cities. Roads leading to tourist spots will be improved. Industrial corridors will get better links to boost business. Old and damaged roads will be rebuilt with modern methods. Digital systems will help monitor quality, and strict safety rules will be followed. A grievance system will also be created to hear public suggestions.
