India Pakistan T20 Clash Set to electrify cricket fans worldwide as the arch-rivals prepare for a blockbuster showdown on February 15 in Colombo. The match will take place at the iconic R Premadasa Stadium, marking India’s third fixture of the T20 World Cup 2026 group stage. This clash also becomes their first meeting since India defeated Pakistan three times during the high-drama Asia Cup earlier this year.
India begins their tournament campaign on February 7 against the USA in Mumbai, which also hosts the opening day of the World Cup. The team then heads to Delhi for a face-off with Namibia on February 12. After the India–Pakistan match, India will conclude the group stage against the Netherlands in Ahmedabad.
The 2026 World Cup runs from February 7 to March 8, jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka. A total of 20 teams will compete, grouped into four pools of five teams each. The top two from every group advance to the Super Eight stage before moving toward the semifinals.
If India qualifies further, their Super Eight matches will take place in Ahmedabad, Chennai and Kolkata. The final is scheduled in Ahmedabad but may shift to Colombo if Pakistan enters the title match.
