Railway Safety Award Winners Honoured in Ferozepur Division

Safety Award Railway Honors 16 employees in the Ferozepur Division for their exceptional alertness and commitment to safe train operations. The division celebrated their contributions for September and October, highlighting how their vigilance strengthened track maintenance, train movement, and passenger safety. The Safety Award Railway Honors initiative aims to motivate staff and build a culture of proactive safety.

The awardees include Track Maintainer-III Lakhbir Singh; Train Managers Harkesh Meena, Dharam Singh Meena, and Lalit Kumar Sharma; Pointsmen Pintu Kumar and Ramesh Chandra Meena; TTEs Karanvir Singh and Arpit Kumar; and Technicians Ramesh Chand Meena, Satish Kumar, and Aditya Kumar. Station Masters Parveen Kumar, Gagandeep, and Ankur Dhaka, as well as Loco Pilot Sanjeev Kumar and Gateman Naveen Kumar, also received recognition.

Divisional Railway Manager Sanjeev Kumar praised their dedication and said the awards encourage employees to act with greater vigilance. He reaffirmed the division’s commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

Senior officials, including Additional DRM Nitin Garg, Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Ranjana Sehgal, and several divisional engineers and officers, attended the ceremony. Their presence highlighted the railway’s focus on teamwork and cross-department coordination to keep operations safe and efficient.
