Bengaluru: iPhone maker Apple has signed a 10-year lease for 2.7 lakh sq ft of office space at Embassy Zenith, with a total rental outlay exceeding ₹1,000 crore, according to data analytics firm Propstack. The lease, effective from April 2025, covers the 5th to 13th floors, with a monthly rent of about ₹6.3 crore (₹235 per sq ft).
Apple also has the option to lease an additional 1.21 lakh sq ft across the ground to 4th floors, the documents revealed.
“Apple’s 10-year commitment for prime office space in Bengaluru reflects its confidence in India’s talent and operations. This aligns with its ongoing iPhone manufacturing scale-up with Foxconn, cementing India’s role in Apple’s global supply chain,” said Raja Seetharaman, co-founder of Propstack.
This expansion follows Apple’s recent office opening at Minsk Square, Bengaluru, which accommodates up to 1,200 employees and includes dedicated labs, collaboration zones, and wellness areas with locally-sourced interiors.
Apple currently employs nearly 3,000 people in India, has new corporate offices in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Gurugram, and recently launched two flagship retail stores — Apple BKC in Mumbai and Apple Saket in Delhi.
