The Guru Tegh Bahadur Martyrdom Day observance in Doiwala drew a large gathering of devotees who came to honour the 350th Shaheedi festival. From early morning, people reached the gurdwara to bow before Guru Maharaj and remember his unmatched courage. The Guru Tegh Bahadur Martyrdom Day programme created an atmosphere of devotion and unity.
Dhadi Jatha Gyani Sukhwinder Singh Anmol and Ragi Jatha Bhai Manjit Singh from Dehradun inspired the sangat with soulful Katha-Kirtan. They shared stories of Guru Tegh Bahadur’s teachings and reminded everyone of his message of justice, peace, and human dignity.
Committee presidents Surendra Singh Khalsa and Inderjit Singh Ladi spoke about the ninth Guru’s place in world history. They said Guru Tegh Bahadur stood firm for protecting humanity and displayed unmatched sacrifice. Bhai Matidas, Bhai Satidas, and Bhai Dayala were also remembered for their devotion and courage.
Many devotees, including Jaswinder Singh, Arvind Bhatt, and other community members, joined the event and contributed to the peaceful celebration. The programme strengthened faith and inspired people to live with compassion, bravery, and truth.
