Tejashwi Yadav clean-up campaign: After the major defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections, RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav has begun a strict internal review. The party is preparing a list of leaders and workers who allegedly worked against the RJD and the Grand Alliance during the elections. This Tejashwi Yadav clean-up campaign aims to identify betrayal, fix responsibility, and strengthen the party from within.
RJD has started division-wise meetings in Patna. On Wednesday, candidates from the Magadh division presented detailed written reports about their constituencies. Senior leaders such as state RJD president Mangani Lal Mandal, Abdulbari Siddiqui, and Bhola Yadav attended the session.
Many candidates have named party members who supported opposition parties instead of the RJD. Because of this internal sabotage, the Grand Alliance suffered major losses. Meetings for other divisions, including Saran and Purnia, are scheduled next.
After December 4, the second phase of the review will take place from December 5 to 9. District presidents, state officials, and the general secretary will participate.
Party leaders whose names appear in the list will be questioned. If their answers are unsatisfactory, they may face suspension or expulsion. RJD leaders are also sharing suggestions on future strategy, public issues, and party reforms.
