BJP to Bring No-Confidence Motion Against Siddaramaiah Government in Belagavi Session
Former Minister V. Sunil Kumar announced that the BJP will move a no-confidence motion against the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government during the upcoming Belagavi legislature session. He said the motion aims to highlight what the BJP views as the government’s administrative lapses and failures in fulfilling promises made to the people of Karnataka.
Kumar stated that the Congress government has been struggling with internal conflicts and governance challenges, and the no-trust motion will offer a platform to expose these issues before the public. However, he clarified that if the Congress administration faces any political crisis, the BJP will not attempt to stake claim to form the government, asserting that the party’s focus is on holding the ruling dispensation accountable rather than destabilising it.
The Belagavi session is expected to witness heated debates as both parties prepare for a politically charged confrontation.
