Cubbon Park Flower Show Attracts Over 33,000 Visitors on Day One
The annual flower show at Cubbon Park in Bengaluru opened to an enthusiastic response, drawing nearly 33,500 visitors on the first day. Organised as part of the city’s year-end cultural calendar, the event features elaborate floral installations, rare plant varieties, and themed displays created by horticulture experts and students.
Visitors thronged the Glass House area, where the main attractions — including large floral sculptures and curated botanical arrangements — were unveiled. Officials from the Department of Horticulture said the turnout exceeded expectations, reflecting the growing popularity of the show among families, tourists, and photography enthusiasts.
The event also includes workshops on gardening, stalls showcasing eco-friendly products, and exhibitions promoting urban horticulture. Authorities have put in place crowd-management measures to ensure smooth entry and movement, especially during peak hours.
The flower show will continue through the weekend, with organisers anticipating an even larger footfall in the coming days.
