In Begusarai, a heartbreaking incident has left the entire region in shock. A 17-year-old boy thrown from moving train lost his life after trying to stop miscreants from snatching his mobile phone. The 17-year-old boy thrown from moving train was returning home to Khagaria for his cousin’s wedding when the tragic event occurred.

Incidents of robbery and snatching on moving trains in Bihar continue to rise. This latest case happened near the Lohianagar overbridge on the Begusarai–Khagaria railway line. The teenager resisted a group of miscreants when they tried to take his phone. They pushed him off the moving train, causing his death.

The victim was identified as Ravi Kumar, son of Chandan Yadav from Maythan village in Khagaria district. He was travelling on the Janhit Express from Patliputra to Purnia Court. Ravi was sitting near the train gate with his phone when the attackers struck.

Police reached the spot, took the body for post-mortem, and started an investigation. Ravi’s sister said he was returning from Delhi after earning money and was excited to attend his cousin’s wedding. His sudden death has caused deep sorrow in the family and the entire village.
