Bulldozer Action in Patna Encroachment Drive Begins

Bulldozer action in Patna during encroachment removal drive

Bulldozer action in Patna will begin on December 1 as the administration launches a large encroachment removal drive. The city officials say this bulldozer action in Patna will help clear blocked roads, footpaths, and government land that people have occupied illegally.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary now handles the Home Department, and his strict approach is visible in this new campaign. Preparations are complete, and Patna District Magistrate Dr. Tyagarajan SM has given orders to start the drive.

The district has created nine teams to work in major areas like Nutan Rajdhani, Patliputra, Kankarbagh, Bankipur, Azimabad, and Patna City. The campaign will also cover Khagaul, Phulwari Sharif, and Danapur Nizamat.

This is a multi-agency drive. The Municipal Corporation, Police, Transport Department, and Zonal Officers will work together to remove illegal structures and restore public spaces.

Officials will take strict action. First-time offenders will face fines, and authorities will seize goods kept on roads or footpaths. Repeated offenders will face FIRs. No one will be allowed to re-occupy cleared areas.

The government aims to make the city cleaner, safer, and easier to move through for everyone.
