Revanth Reddy Urges HUDCO to Provide Low-Interest Loans
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met the HUDCO chairman and requested low-interest loans to support major development projects in Telangana. He highlighted the need for affordable financing for initiatives such as Bharat Future City, Hyderabad Metro expansion, the Regional Ring Road, and multiple radial roads. The Chief Minister also asked HUDCO to consider restructuring earlier high-interest loans to ease the financial burden on the State.
HUDCO responded positively, noting that funding had already been approved for housing projects under the Indiramma scheme and assuring faster processing of loans for the construction of an additional ten lakh houses.
Revanth Reddy also invited the HUDCO chairman to the upcoming “Telangana Rising Global Summit 2047,” to be held at Bharat Future City, emphasising the government’s focus on rapid urban development and large-scale infrastructure planning.
