Naidu Highlights Welfare, Development Achievements and Seeks Long-Term Mandate
Chief Minister and BJP leader N. Chandrababu Naidu has asserted that the NDA government has consistently delivered on welfare and development initiatives in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking in Eluru, he cited record spending on pensions, transparent paddy procurement systems, and a surge in major investments as evidence of the government’s focus on economic growth and social welfare.
Naidu urged farmers to shift toward demand-driven crops to maximize income and adapt to evolving market needs. He also reaffirmed his commitment to regional development projects, emphasizing equitable growth across districts. A key highlight of his address was the promise to complete the Polavaram irrigation project by 2027, underlining its importance for water security, agriculture, and local livelihoods.
The former Chief Minister sought a long-term mandate from citizens, emphasizing that continued political stability and consistent governance are essential for sustaining development momentum, improving infrastructure, and ensuring comprehensive welfare benefits for all communities in the State.
