Female teacher shot in Bihar early on Wednesday morning, creating panic in Araria district. The victim, Shivani Kumari, was riding her scooter to Middle School Khabadh Kanhaili when the attack took place. She left her rented home in Forbseganj as usual, but two masked men followed her on a bike. They fired at her near the Shiva temple, just 100 meters from the school. The female teacher shot in Bihar fell to the ground and suffered a severe head injury that led to her death.
Villagers Sudhir Yadav and Gaurav Kumar saw people running toward the spot. They rushed there and found Shivani lying on the road, covered in blood. They took her to Sadar Hospital in Araria, where doctors confirmed she had no pulse.
Shivani was 28 years old and had taught at the school for nearly two years. She came from Barabanki district in Uttar Pradesh and worked hard to support herself.
Soon after the incident, senior police officers reached the area. SP Anjani Kumar said the attackers will face strict action. The search for the two masked men has already begun.
