Andhra Pradesh Launches Helpline to Resolve Paddy Procurement Issues
A control room and toll-free helpline have been launched in Andhra Pradesh to address problems faced by farmers at paddy procurement centres. Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar announced that farmers can call 1967 for immediate assistance whenever they encounter delays, payment issues, or operational problems during procurement. The control room will monitor all centres across the State and coordinate with officials to resolve complaints quickly. The Minister emphasised that the government is committed to ensuring smooth and transparent procurement processes and protecting farmers’ interests. He urged farmers to use the helpline to report difficulties so that corrective action can be taken without delay.
