Telangana Launches Six-Week ‘Fraud Ka Full Stop’ Campaign
Telangana has launched a six-week campaign titled ‘Fraud Ka Full Stop’ to raise awareness about financial frauds and strengthen preventive measures. The initiative aims to educate citizens, particularly students and vulnerable banking customers, about online and offline fraud risks.
At the launch, authorities introduced SPARC Cyber Clubs (Student Program for Awareness and Responsible Cyberspace) in schools and colleges. These clubs will engage students in learning about cyber hygiene, safe digital practices, and ways to identify and report fraudulent activities. Additionally, the SBI Cyber Defenders program was rolled out to train bank staff and customers to detect suspicious transactions, phishing attempts, and other financial threats.
Officials said the campaign will combine workshops, interactive sessions, and awareness drives across the State to enhance vigilance and reduce the incidence of fraud. The initiative reflects Telangana’s commitment to building a safer financial ecosystem for citizens.
