A Siwan headman murder case shocked Bihar on Wednesday evening when village leader Radha Sah was shot dead in the middle of the road. The Siwan headman murder took place near Phulariya turn in the Raghunathpur police station area. Sah was returning from a funeral on a bike with his companions when armed criminals suddenly stopped them and fired at him from close range.
According to locals, the attackers arrived on a Bullet motorcycle. They were dressed in white clothes and had their faces covered. Witnesses said the gunman pointed a pistol at Sah’s temple and shot him before fleeing. His two associates, who were riding the same bike, survived the attack.
People rushed Sah to the Raghunathpur Community Health Center, but doctors declared him dead. Soon after, angry villagers blocked the Guthni-Manjhi road in protest and demanded immediate action.
Police teams cordoned off the area and launched raids to track down the attackers. Siwan Superintendent of Police Vikram Sihag confirmed that multiple teams are working to identify and arrest the criminals.
