The issue of fake experience certificates in Bihar’s universities has created a major controversy. The problem came to light after videos and documents showed clear misuse of these certificates. In one shocking case, a professor appointed on a deaf-mute disability certificate was seen speaking and teaching normally. This raised serious doubts about the use of fake experience certificates in the recruitment process.
The BRABU administration has now launched a full investigation. A special committee will check all experience certificates submitted since 2020. Officials said strict action will be taken against teachers found guilty. They may also lose their jobs if fraud is proven.
Universities have also discovered that some colleges without proper approval issued certificates to resource persons. These certificates are not valid, yet they were accepted earlier during recruitment. This investigation will now block such candidates from continuing their jobs.
Another case revealed that evening colleges issued certificates to several teachers, even though many of these colleges did not meet the standards set by the University Service Commission.
The first case was reported in February, and more irregularities have surfaced since then. With the investigation starting this month, universities hope to clean up the recruitment system and restore trust.
