Foreign Trip Row has created a major political debate in Bihar. JDU spokesperson Neeraj Kumar attacked Tejashwi Yadav for skipping Assembly proceedings. He said the Foreign Trip Row shows Tejashwi left the state even though his father Lalu Prasad Yadav is unwell. Neeraj asked whether Tejashwi travelled with history-sheeter Rameez, the man linked to an old dispute involving Rohini Acharya.
Neeraj also told reporters that the opposition has lost public support. He claimed Tejashwi and his family went on a foreign tour, reportedly to Europe. He demanded that Tejashwi reveal which country he visited and who accompanied him. Media reports say Rameez also travelled with him, which Neeraj called a “serious issue.”
He further questioned whether Tejashwi obtained court permission to leave India, saying the Leader of the Opposition must share such documents with the media.
Earlier, BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal also criticised Tejashwi’s travel. He said only Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi enjoy the luxury of going abroad during assembly sessions. According to him, both leaders treat elections as a temporary hobby and leave the country once polls end.
