Fourth Day of Disruptions: 102 IndiGo Flights Cancelled in Bengaluru

Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport witnessed the cancellation of 102 IndiGo flights — 52 arrivals and 50 departures — as widespread disruptions stretched into the fourth consecutive day. Passengers reported long queues, unclear communication, and delays in receiving updates about revised schedules or alternative travel options.
The airline has attributed the ongoing crisis to a severe shortage of pilots and crew following the enforcement of stricter flight-duty and rest-time regulations, combined with winter-season congestion and operational bottlenecks. These factors have triggered cascading delays across multiple airports in the country.
IndiGo has informed aviation authorities that the disruptions may persist for another two to three days as schedules are recalibrated. The airline has extended an apology to affected passengers and is offering rebooking, refunds, and support at help desks. The situation has caused travel uncertainty for thousands, with ripple effects across major domestic aviation hubs
