Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje made an unexpected halt in Ajmer on Thursday night while travelling from Udaipur to Jaipur. Speaking to a local private TV channel, she delivered several emotional yet pointed political remarks. Raje said the position she held was never her own, but belonged to the people. “As long as people consider me part of their family, I will remain among them,” she said.

Reflecting on her long political journey, Raje added, “This bond wasn’t formed overnight; it has grown over more than 20 years. People travel long distances to meet me, greet me, bless me. This kind of love is rare. How lucky I am.”

Raje emphasised that her politics is rooted in public welfare, not electoral wins or losses. She compared budget planning to a homemaker managing household expenses—ensuring every rupee benefits the people. She said she always left behind clean and transparent policies.

Sending a deeper message, she remarked, “Anyone who tries to create conflict for personal gain receives support only for a short time. Even God doesn’t stand with such people.” Recalling old allegations, she joked, “When I was accused of a 20,000-crore scam, I didn’t even know how many zeros that amount had.”
