Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha said the NDA Government is protecting and restoring temples across Andhra Pradesh. She visited the Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Simhachalam with her family on Saturday. During the visit, she offered special prayers and received blessings from temple priests. She later reviewed the ongoing arrangements for Vaikuntha Ekadashi.
The Minister instructed temple authorities to ensure smooth facilities for devotees during the festival. She asked them to manage queue lines effectively and provide drinking water and other essential services. Moreover, she interacted directly with devotees waiting in the queue and enquired about the services they were receiving. Devotees shared their feedback on the preparations with her.
Anitha stated that the government is working quickly to safeguard temples and preserve spiritual traditions. She explained that major festivals are being organised with greater care and devotion across the state. She emphasised the need for strong security and better amenities during peak festival seasons to support heavy crowds.
The Home Minister also discussed upcoming development plans for the Simhachalam temple with senior officials. She added that the government aims to bring transparency in temple administration and strengthen Hindu dharma through improved management.
