Tirupati Balaji Temple in Patna: A New Spiritual Landmark for Bihar

Tirupati Balaji Temple in Patna land allotment news

Tirupati Balaji Temple in Patna is set to become a major spiritual centre in Bihar. The Nitish Kumar government has allotted 10.11 acres of land in the Mokama Khas area for the project. With this decision, the dream of building the Tirupati Balaji Temple in Patna is finally moving forward.

The Bihar cabinet approved the land allotment for Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). TTD will build the Sri Venkateswara Balaji Temple on a 99-year lease at a nominal rent of 1 rupee. TTD Chairman BR Naidu shared the news on social media and thanked the state government for its support.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu welcomed the decision and called it historic. He said the temple would give millions of devotees from eastern India a chance to experience the divine grandeur of Tirupati without travelling far. The project will also strengthen cultural ties between Andhra Pradesh and Bihar.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary earlier announced that the temple would boost religious tourism and create employment in Mokama. The upcoming temple is expected to bring economic growth, spiritual importance, and better connectivity to the region.
