With just five days left until Vinayaka Chavithi, organizers have reached the final stage of preparations for the Khairatabad Mahaganapati. Devotees eagerly await the grand unveiling of the deity, celebrating the festival’s 71st anniversary this year.
Divyagnana Guruji Vitthal Sharma shared that the idol, standing at an impressive 69 feet, will be presented as Sri Vishwashanti Mahashakti Ganapati for devotees to have darshan. Artisans and volunteers are adding the final touches to complete the idol in time for the festival.
The much-awaited Netronmilan (eye-opening) ceremony is scheduled for September 25. Organizers are decorating the area, arranging facilities for devotees, and finalizing rituals to preserve tradition while ensuring safety. Thousands of devotees from across the region are expected to attend, eager to witness the grandeur and devotion that make this celebration iconic.
