Railways stepped in to ease the rush. Special trains now run on Delhi-Mumbai and other busy routes. Ajmer-Bandra special train (09603) departed Monday evening, reaching Mumbai Tuesday afternoon, with multiple AC, sleeper, and general coaches. The return journey (09604) leaves Bandra Tuesday evening.
Passengers are advised to check flight status on official airline websites before travel. Railway authorities have increased coach availability on key routes to accommodate affected travelers.
