Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh expressed anger over the behavior of some TDP MLAs. Speaking before the cabinet meeting yesterday, he asked why a few legislators were dragging themselves into controversies when the government is earning praise for welfare schemes.
Lokesh said programs like Sthree Shakti, Talliki Vandanam, and Annadata Sukhibhava gave the government a strong image among people. But the actions of a few MLAs are creating a negative impression and pulling focus away from good work.
He reminded in-charge ministers that they must control their MLAs and guide them in the right way. Lokesh made it clear the party will not accept indiscipline. He warned that leaders who cross limits or harm the party’s reputation will face strict action.
