Punjab Congress infighting has intensified after former cabinet minister Anil Joshi issued a legal notice to Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu. Her continuous allegations of ticket trading and monetary deals against senior party leaders have triggered strong reactions. Several leaders have already sent her legal notices, and Joshi is the latest to take action.
Dr. Sidhu recently accused Anil Joshi of paying money to join the Congress and claimed he was now frustrated and planning to return to the Akali Dal. In response, Joshi said her statements were baseless and motivated by political hostility. He asserted that he never met or spoke with her and would challenge her claims in court.
This notice marks the fourth legal action against Dr. Sidhu, who was suspended from the Congress earlier this week over her controversial remarks involving alleged ₹500 crore deals.
