Union Minister Kishan Reddy has accused the Congress party of causing the rise in fertilizer prices in the black market. He pointed out that while the government sells urea at Rs. 260 per bag, it is being sold for Rs. 400 in the black market.

Despite the central government offering subsidies between Rs. 2200 and Rs. 2400 on urea, Kishan Reddy questioned how this price discrepancy occurred and demanded an explanation from the Congress party.

Reddy emphasized that the government needs to ensure the proper distribution of fertilizers to avoid shortages. He also called for measures to ensure that every bag of urea reaches farmers without issues.

Additionally, Reddy criticized the Congress government for permitting illegal practices in the market. He highlighted that contractors have failed to settle their bills, causing delays in work and adding to the difficulties faced by farmers.

In response to the arrests of BJP leaders during a protest outside the Secretariat, Reddy expressed his anger. He urged the Congress government to take responsibility for the worsening situation and address the grievances of farmers.
