President Droupadi Murmu will visit Telangana from December 17 to 22. She will attend several official programs planned in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts. Officials began preparations early due to the visit’s scale and importance. They also reviewed logistic and protocol plans for the week-long tour.
The state government appointed Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka as the “Minister-in-Waiting” for the President. This decision came after Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao issued formal orders on Friday. Seethakka will coordinate government arrangements and ensure smooth execution throughout the President’s schedule. She will also guide departments that support the visit.
During the winter sojourn, President Murmu will stay at the Rashtrapati Nilayam in Hyderabad from December 17 to 21. The special stay will include official meetings and cultural interactions. Several national and state officials will join these engagements. The Rashtrapati Nilayam staff prepared the premises with upgraded facilities.
Meanwhile, the police department designed a detailed security plan. They added strong traffic restrictions to ensure safe movement. They also deployed additional teams near event venues and key road stretches. The administration expects heavy public presence and is preparing crowd-management measures. Overall, the visit is set to become a major state-level event.
