KTR Hails BRS Performance in GP Polls

KTR congratulated BRS-supported sarpanch and ward member winners, describing their victories as significant given the tough political environment and criticisms of the state government’s performance. He argued that the outcomes signal a rejection of the ruling party and a resurgence of support for BRS at the grassroots level.
In Suryapet district, former minister G Jagadish Reddy’s father, 95-year-old Guntakandla Ramachandra Reddy, was elected sarpanch of Nagaram village, drawing attention for his age and local popularity. His election was widely celebrated in the community as a historic moment.
