Muzaffarpur family suicide has sent shockwaves across Bihar. The heartbreaking incident took place in Navalpur Mishraulia village under the Sakra police station area. Muzaffarpur family suicide has left residents struggling to understand how an entire household reached such a tragic end.
On Sunday night, Amarnath Ram, aged 40, ended his life along with his three young daughters. Two sons narrowly survived and raised an alarm, which brought villagers to the house. A large crowd gathered soon after, and police were informed.
Police officials reached the spot immediately and began their investigation. The victims were identified as Radha Kumari (11), Radhika (9), and Shivani (7). Amarnath’s wife had died earlier, and he was raising all five children alone.
According to Shivam, the elder son, the family had dinner together before the incident. Early in the morning, Amarnath woke the children and carried out the act. Shivam felt pain, freed himself, and saved his younger brother Chandan.
The Sakra police station team remains at the village. Officers are questioning the surviving children to understand the reason behind the decision. Relatives and villagers remain in deep shock as the probe continues.
