KTR Warns Congress to Stop Attacks on BRS Workers

Telangana minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) issued a stern warning to the Congress party on Sunday, saying attacks on BRS workers must stop or face retaliation. The statement came during his visit to the bereaved family of a party worker who was recently killed in an attack allegedly carried out by Congress supporters.
KTR, accompanied by senior party leaders, expressed solidarity with the family and assured them of the party’s full support. He condemned the violence and said such attacks undermine democratic values and public trust.
The minister emphasized that BRS workers have been targeted repeatedly, and the party will not remain silent. KTR’s visit underscored the BRS leadership’s commitment to protecting its members and holding perpetrators accountable.
He urged the authorities to take strict action against those responsible for the attack and ensure justice for the victim. Party sources said the incident has heightened tensions ahead of upcoming political activities. KTR’s message served both as support for the affected family and a political warning to the opposition, signaling the BRS party’s intent to safeguard its cadre and maintain law and order.
