Neglect of SW Hostel Students Not Tolerated, Says Minister Savitha
Minister Savitha has issued a strict warning that neglect of SW hostel students will not be tolerated. The statement comes after two students of the SC hostel in Sri Sathya Sai district were injured in a road accident.
She directed officials to ensure that the students receive the best possible medical treatment immediately. The Minister emphasized that the safety and well-being of students in government hostels is a top priority.
Savitha said such incidents highlight the need for enhanced safety measures for hostel students. She called for a review of protocols and assured families that the government will take all necessary steps to prevent similar accidents in the future.
Officials confirmed that the students are receiving care at a nearby hospital, and their condition is being closely monitored. The Minister also urged local authorities to provide timely support to the families of the affected students.
