Amit Shah in Tamil Nadu Cannot Succeed, Says Chief Minister Stalin
Amit Shah in Tamil Nadu will not succeed, nor will the Sangh Parivar gain ground in the State, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said on Sunday. He accused the BJP and right-wing groups of trying to mislead people with false claims and regressive ideas.
Speaking in Chennai, Stalin said the right wing spreads lies in the form of “honey-coated pills” to deceive citizens. He added that such tactics have failed in the past and will continue to fail in Tamil Nadu.
The Chief Minister said the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) follows an ideology rooted in social justice, rational thought, and self-respect. He described the DMK’s principles as an antidote to the politics practiced by the BJP.
Stalin said Tamil Nadu has a strong tradition of opposing divisive politics. People in the State, he added, can clearly distinguish between progressive governance and attempts to impose backward ideas.
He also accused the BJP of using religion and misinformation to polarise society. Tamil Nadu’s political culture, he said, rejects such approaches and stands for equality and inclusiveness.
Reiterating his stand, Stalin said Amit Shah in Tamil Nadu would face firm resistance from the people. He expressed confidence that the State would continue to support the DMK’s vision of inclusive and progressive politics.
