Chandrababu Naidu Says AP Can Achieve 15% Growth by Focusing on Water, Jobs, and Farming
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday said the State can achieve a 15% growth rate by focusing on key sectors such as water management, employment generation, and farming. Speaking at the two-day Collectors’ Conference in Vijayawada, he emphasised that the “speed of delivering governance” would be crucial in achieving these targets.
Mr. Naidu highlighted that the efficient implementation of government schemes and projects depends on proactive administration and the active involvement of people’s representatives. He urged district collectors and officials to prioritise water resource management, ensure adequate irrigation for agriculture, and create job opportunities to boost economic growth.
The Chief Minister also stressed the importance of transparency, accountability, and timely monitoring of developmental programs. He said that coordinated efforts between government machinery and elected representatives are essential to realise the State’s growth objectives. Officials at the conference were instructed to identify bottlenecks and adopt innovative solutions to accelerate development in their districts.
