Land Acquisition in Progress for 11 Major Industries, Says Nellore Collector
Nellore District Collector has stated that land acquisition is currently under way for 11 major industrial projects in the district. He said these projects are expected to bring significant investment, employment opportunities, and overall development to the region.
The Collector noted that Kavali town is likely to be developed into an industrial township in the coming years. This development is linked to the establishment of key projects such as the Ramayapatnam Port, Indosol Solar Power project, and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) facilities. Together, these projects are expected to transform Kavali into an important industrial hub.
He assured that the land acquisition process is being carried out in a transparent and fair manner, with proper compensation to landowners. The district administration is coordinating closely with industries to ensure timely completion of procedures.
The Collector added that industrial growth would improve infrastructure, create jobs for local youth, and boost the district’s economy.
